Vintage Wooden Ironing Board Circa 1940s with
collapsible legs. My parents were married in 1940 and this may have been my
grandparents ironing board. Unsure, but we all learned to iron on it.

This is a beautiful old wooden folding ironing
board. The top and legs are made of solid wood, with heavy steel bracing and hinges.  When folded
flat, the board is 56 inches long, 13-1/2 inches wide, and 4 inches deep.  The overall height of the opened ironing board is 31 inches from the floor.  This beautiful old piece is very solid, and would make a great plant or display stand, or would be great for its original purpose as a functional ironing board.  The overall condition is very good for the age of this piece. These neat old ironers are much more sturdy than today's products!  The winning bidder will pay the actual UPS Ground Shipping Cost.  Due to the large size, we cannot ship this item outside of the United States.  Please email any and all questions before bidding.
